As a Centre we will work with local schools school caterers and food technology teachers to fully integrate food studies into the wider curriculum thereby using secondary socialisation as the main vehicle to facilitate change in eating habits. , We will also work closely with the Academy of Culinary Arts ‘Adopt A School’ programme which encourages children to make informed food choices. , ,
About Us
The School is a Centre of Vocational Excellence for catering and hospitality education and training. The School has been awarded a number of accolades from the industry it serves. It works closely with local community groups and is extremely active in promoting healthy eating amongst school children through its Junior Chefs’ Academy. It also works with school caterers and food technology teachers in the development of a sustainable food culture that promotes good health through sound nutritional awareness. The School has an international reputation offering also a wide range of professional programmes in FE and HE for the Hospitality Industry.
