About Us
Located in the South East of England, Oxford is ideally located in terms of good road and rail infrastructure and readily accessible to both the primary (Oxfordshire) and secondary geographical market areas outlined within this bid. In addition, within Oxfordshire there are over 500 schools and nurseries which are available to provide learners to this centre. The core of the OCVC Partnership is the college itself, which is a nationally recognised centre of vocational excellence for catering training. This established provision achieves some of the highest success rates for vocational learning in the UK. To achieve this accolade, the college has constantly exceeded challenging success rate and volume targets. The success of this area of learning within the college has been driven by a motivated team, who are passionate about learning in this sector. The college views the School FEAST Network as a great opportunity to serve the wider community in a positive way, and promote several of the colleges’ main aims; • to encourage new entrants into education • to promote lifelong learning opportunities • to promote healthy lifestyles.
